I read that a non-pregnant woman loses about 100 strands of hair daily. I'd imagine it'll be worst during and post pregnancy with all the hormones and stress. This is will pass, hopefully. Hang in there!

Yes, excessive hairfall is very much normal after PP. It's due to the falling estrogen levels after delivery. The good news is -- it's temporary and your normal hair will be back within a year

Yes, mine dropped like crazy too... Understand it will drop tremendously during the first year after birth due to hormone change. No worries, just take more nutritious food.

Yes, it is normal. No need to worries. It is because hormonal changes. Trim short, use hair tonic and taking supplements that contain biotin. Hope this help. :)

normal. mine start to drop when my son was 4mths old. now he is 10mths, my hair start to grow back. v ugly now. all standing up. but better than not growing.

I trim my hair shorter n thinner n feel that it don't drop that much. Got to relax don't stress urself. If it continue after half yr do consider to c a dr..

i had 1 hole after giving birth to my first kid. 2 holes after giving birth to my second. my 2nd one is coming to 2 yr soon. hair condition is normal now

It's normal mummy. Just comb ur hair once a day, don't run through ur hands into ur hair often. It will stop. Just relax n enjoy motherhood!

Most hair fall takes at least 6 to 8 months to regrow. Some mummies will encounter parts of the hair fall unable to regrow.
