My mother-in-law keeps on critising me. how do I tell her politely to not do that?

Are you able to talk to her nicely and let her know it hurts? Else try to avoid her if she does not get it. I do understand some dil are really nice and want the relationship to work out. Keep on trying! Don't give up!
