Do you take Duphaston?

Dr Adrian recommended me to take this as I had a prior MC. But I’m not keen to take unnecessarily. Any of you took? Any side effects?

Yes, it is very safe. My baby is conceived via IUI and I have taken since preconception to end of first trimester. This medicine will help support your pregnancy for people who usually have multiple miscarriages before or spotting/ bleeding during first trimester or signs of threatened miscarriage. No side effects for me. And I was on a dose of 3x a day because I had minor spotting between week 5-6 gestation.

I had chemical pregnancy before and my gynae Dr Ben choey prescribed me this as well. as someone who went through mc before Im very anxious. so when Dr Ben prescribed me, I just took it and eat it till 13 weeks.

Same, was prescribed cause of previous MC. Been taking duphaston since week 5 till week 12, now changed to utrogestan for week 13 and second trimester. Prescribed for 3 more weeks and told I could stop after.

My first pregnancy i had a tear n was given duphaston to help coz i had bleeding. However i took for quite a period of time before i stopped. No issue or problems. My LO is alr 22 going 23 mths :)

Its not unnecessary if a gynae provide you. Duphaston is to strengthen the womb to avoid miscarriage. I was prescribed duphaston at 11w for few weeks and now im 28 w. No side effect at all.

I asked the KK doctor and she says there is no need as I’m already Vomitting. Eating that will cause More Vomitting.

Is to strengthen the womb, i also took it when my gynae prescribed me this. Took for close to a month+
