If you don't have the means for it, but your child needs medical attention abroad, would you try to settle for medical care in the Philippines? What are the other options?

Try to seek all possible means both here and abroad, no matter what it takes. I agree with Stan, if the family doesn't have the means, you may check with PCSO or even private institutions who are willing to sponsor the medication. You can also seek help from network stations who have special programs intended for medical help.

If I recall correctly, the PH government has just approved the law on supporting kids with rare medical conditions/ Also, we can always look for non-profit organizations aside from PCSO.
